What is the main purpose of commercial radio 

Throughout this essay I will be exploring some of the main strategies and the purpose of commercial radio; I will be referring to those who focus on the issues for commercial radio and how they operate. 
One of the main purposes of the commercial radio is that it can be advertised for selling products, the purpose is to make money for the radio stations. Radio can begin without paid commercial radio where it is unexpected, television was planned to due radio’s success. Television began with commercial sponsorship and later transformed to paid commercial time. 
Commercial broadcasting overlaps with paid services such as cable televisionradio and satellite television. Such services are generally partially or wholly paid for by local subscribers and is known as leased access. Other programming is produced by companies operating in much the same manner as advertising-funded commercial broadcasters. 
Without radio advertising, the stations would not afford to broadcast, BBC were funded by TV licenses can be able to reach people in many places than TVs, radios are secondary activity where instead of watching televisions you can listen to a radio. 
Radio are broadcast as radio waves to the air from a transmitted to an antenna and to receiving a device, online advertising is form of promotion that uses the internet and world wide which would have delivered marketing messages which attract customers. The commercial radio can increase market share, listeners on radio would increase money and pay the people that function on the radio stations.
The purpose of the commercial radio is that it would get the listeners hear the music and hear the advertisements that would have the products such as; new deals or a new movie that is coming out. It can also get you on live on to some sports, I think the commercial radio helps tune everyone in wherever you go instead of watching televisions. Radio is mobile where you can listen anywhere; at your work place or even on your phone on a radio station. It can have competitions for whoever calls in to the competition they can enter in the top 10 or 20 gets the prizes which could be a product or maybe an concert tickets, that would get a big attraction for the listeners to tune in and try win the tickets, and the purpose of the commercial radio is to raise money for those who are on air station doing the music and concert.
